My Best Skincare Purchases

I love getting a new product and just being so happy with it! Truly nothing better!

Here are a few of my favourite & best products for acne.

One of Caralyn's Best products for acne

EltaMD UV Clear sunscreen

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. If you are struggling to wear sunscreen every day, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

It’s an oil-free, light, creamy texture that feels so nice to apply and leaves your skin looking plump and dewy. Its formulation is designed for sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts associated with acne (even fungal acne) and rosacea.

It has some of my favourite ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. Option for tinted and untinted formulas.

Deviant Gentle Resurfacing Liquid

This is the perfect chemical exfoliant. It’s a unique blend of AHA, BHA & PHA that stimulates cellular turnover and is great for acne, fine lines, discoloration and the appearance of enlarged pores.

It’s a gentle formulation than when used properly will not cause irritation or damage your sin barrier. Since using this product congestion around my nose and chin has drastically improved, and my skin is less red.

This product is comparable to the cult-favourite Biologique Recherche P50 lotion.

The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane

This has been a daily go-to for me as of late (as you can tell this bottle is so gross from being tossed around my skincare bag). I like to apply this at the end of my skincare routine right before my gel-cream based moisturizer & sunscreen. Squalane locks in moisture and keeps my skin happy and dewy all day long.

The Ordinary price point is unbeatable and it’s a good product. Squalane is a great acne-safe oil and one of the only ones I would recommend if you are prone to fungal-acne.

That’s it for now! I’ll do this again when I have a few more goodies to share!

With Happiness & Clear Skin,

Caralyn
